There’s much for Pensioners to do in the Holme Valley and on top of the list is Julia’s Zest Exercise Class. Not only are the classes fun but we know by the end of the class we have exercised and feel energised. Based round a chair, Julia leads us through exercises to strengthen our muscles and improve our balance.

Julia is encouraging and mindful of our individual abilities and we feel confident under her professional care. The fitness levels of our group have steadily improved, thanks to Julia’s training, skills and joyful approach to life!

I recently met Julia through one of my Patients who told me about a fantastic class she attends weekly with her friend. I then realised that several of my patients were attending these weekly classes. I started hearing more lovely comments from my patients about this wonderful exercise lady called Julia. My Patients love how the exercises to music really makes them feel like they have had a good workout. Julia encourages her members in a way that is caring and motivational, she adapts her exercises to fit all, but make this exercises group a challenge for all abilities.

These classes are fun and inspire the members to return the next week. Julia is compassionate and easy to talk to about each individual’s needs.  I would definitely recommend these exercises/health classes. I attended a free taster class convinced that I wouldn’t enjoy it and here I am 3 years on and still loving it. Julia has an infectious enthusiasm and makes the classes such fun.
